Reiki practitioners use symbols in order to practice Reiki sessions. One of the primary ones is the ‘distance symbol’, which, when invoked, can send Reiki healing energy across time and space.
Beautifully, this means you don’t need to be in the same room as me to receive the life force energy. Distance doesn't determine the quality of the energy received. In fact, many people prefer to receive Reiki when they’re in their own space, where they feel most relaxed, which can maximise the impact.
At your appointment time, I’ll video call you for a quick check-in. Then you get comfy, lying down or sitting somewhere comfortable with your eyes closed.
You can choose to stay on the call during your session, or we can end the call, I will put on some music, and we will begin. Or we can hang up, and I will proceed as normal.
Afterwards, we’ll reconnect either on the call or by message. I’ll share what I noticed, and you can share what you noticed.
Beyond the general benefits of Reiki, Distant Reiki is perfect if you:
- Want to stay in the comfort of home and rest straight after
- Travel a lot, feel unwell, are postpartum, or can’t easily get to appointments
- Need flexibility with time zones and scheduling
Three sessions are recommended for maximum benefit.
